Led Zeppelin: “Plant Doesn’t Want to Play Loud Music, But We Do!”
Bassist John Paul Jones says the hard rock titans may finally reunite -- but without singer Robert Plant. Click here for details!
Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant may have no plans to rejoin the seminal hard rock band for a forthcoming world tour, but according to bassist John Paul Jones, the singer’s decision isn’t diminishing the remaining members’ drive to crank up the volume.”He [Plant] really doesn’t want to make loud music anymore,” Jones explained [via eGigs.co.uk]. “We do. I mean, I love acoustic music, but it doesn’t stop me from turning something up.”
And it seems the Plant-less trio aren’t looking to quiet down anytime soon as they continue to practice — with a few new singers at the mic! “Jimmy [Page], Jason [Bonham, son of original drummer John], and I are actually rehearsing and we’ve had the odd singer come in and have a bash,” Jones said. “We really hope that something is going to happen soon because we really want to do it and we’re having a lot of fun, actually, just rehearsing.”
So does this mean Dee Snider’s not completely crazy!?
