Robert Plant on Zeppelin Tour and Record: Not Gonna Happen

Why won't the vocalist rejoin the hard rock legends? Click here to find out!

Contrary to reports Friday, former Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant — who reunited the decisive quartet for a one-off gig (read our review) last year — will not rejoin guitarist Jimmy Page, bassist John Paul Jones, and drummer Jason Bonham (son of original sticksman, John) to record new material or embark on a world tour.

“It’s both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward,” Plant, currently on tour with Alison Krauss, said in a statement [via]. “I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects.”
