The fine balance between the pursuit of studies and pleasures is an age-old and hard-to-swallow dichotomy. And this fall songstress Kate Voegele is up to the challenge and will attempt to balance her music career with her studies on MySpace’s “Back 2 School” tour, sponsored by the University of Phoenix.

Throughout the 40-date outing, Voegele, also an actress on One Tree Hill, will attempt to juggle her music career with two college psychology courses that she will simultaneously enroll in with the University of Phoenix. And best off all, her fans can watch how it unfolds in a series of behind-the-scenes video blogs, set to be posted to Voegele’s MySpace page.

“We are so excited to be working with University of Phoenix on this tour! It truly represents what the MySpace Music platform is all about: creating unique opportunities for artists, fans, and brands to connect around music,” J Scavo, general manager of MySpace Records, said in a statement. “Kate’s tour last spring was unbelievable and an even bigger turnout than we ever expected. This time, we have a unique opportunity to give her fans a glimpse behind the scenes as Kate maintains balance between life on the road and her college education, which her fans are going to love!”
