Madonna Unveils North American Tour

Who? The Queen of Pop, the Material Girl, Madge, or simply Madonna, a longstanding and creative force in pop music, defining many of its facets, always exploring its limits, and influencing its fresh faces.

What? An exhaustive world tour — titled Sticky and Sweet — in support of her new record Hard Candy (co-written with Justin Timberlake), set to touch down in North America for 18 dates, beginning in East Rutherford, NJ Oct. 3. From there, Madonna and her sure to be lengthy crew of dancers, managers, and handlers, will hit cities such as New York, Toronto, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Denver before winding down in Miami Nov. 26.

Should I go? Sure. Though Madonna has toured around the world on many, many occasions, her live show continues to improve — and so does her oeuvre. Hard Candy‘s upbeat bangers like “4 Minutes,” produced by Timbaland and featuring Justin Timberlake, returns Madonna to her club-hoppin’ and sexy roots. And paired with her prolific, excellent back catalogue, Madonna’s show is sure to be worth the price of admission — even if it is upwards of $70.
