What do Sufjan Stevens, David Byrne, and Nick Cave all have in common? They’ve all dabbled in the art of the film score, and you too can join their ranks with Prada’s latest initiative now seeking original scores to Trembled Blossoms, an animated short film directed by James Lima.

Musicians interested in penning the score for the film, an animated work channeling Hollywood’s golden era in the 1930s, can head to prada.com/contest to download a silent version of the film, as well as check out scores from CocoRosie, which performed their piece live in New York City this past winter, as well as Frederic Sanchez’s composition, which he debuted in Los Angeles early this spring.

But act fast, aspiring musicians, for the contest ends April 25! And the winner composition, chosen by the Trembled Blossom team, will be displayed on the Prada website, alongside the CocoRosie and Frederic Sanchez works.

Head to prada.com/contest to download the silent film and submit your final entry.
