Lightspeed Champion Tote Flowers Forever on Summer Tour

Who: SXSW highlights Lightspeed Champion and Flowers Forever, the side project of Tilly and the Wall guitarist Derek Pressnall.

What: A 15-date North American tour with a full backing band, featuring opener Flowers Forever on the bulk of dates. Launched in continual support of debut Falling Off the Lavender Bridge, Lightspeed Champion’s outing will begin with two gigs warming stages for ex-Moldy Peaches folky Adam Green, before joining Flowers Forever and kicking off their nationwide tour proper-like June 5 in Hoboken, NJ.

Should I go: Yes. As Lightspeed Champion proved at SXSW, his acoustic plucks are not to be missed.
