Starting today (Dec. 11), Yorktown Heights, NY’s the Scarlet, which Tim Kasher,judge and frontman of both the Cursive and the Good Life, says is”better that 98% of music out there today,” will vie against Chicago’s Victorian Halls, a theatrical outfit judge and alt-rocker Perry Farrell calls “punchy and tight.”
