Gibby Haynes, Tarts of Pleasure Round Off Siren Bill

Siren Music Festival 2007, Coney Island’s seventh annual free all-day, all-ages music extravaganza hosted by New York City’s alt-weekly the Village Voice, has completed its bill with the addition of DJs Gibby Haynes, renowned frontman of sleaze rock outfit Butthole Surfers, and Tarts of Pleasure, both who will be spinning throughout the event, slated for July 21. As previously reported, the festival’s bill also includes the New York Dolls, M.I.A., Cursive, We Are Scientists, Voxtrot, Matt and Kim, Black Lips, Dr. Dog, Noisettes, Lavender Diamond, the Detroit Cobras, Elvis Perkins in Dearland, the Twilight Sad, and White Rabbits. Head out to Coney Island this summer and enjoy a stroll down the boardwalk, a Famous Nathan’s hot dog, a cool drink by the seaside, a scary-as-hell whip around the Cyclone rollercoaster, and the smorgasbord of tunes set to blare from the park July 21, for Coney Island’s vintage sentiment and free music won’t last forever.
