Four in T.I.’s Entourage Shot

A shootout in Cincinnati early Wednesday morning involving T.I. left one man dead and three others injured.

The incident, which took place at around 3:20 A.M., began with a verbal altercation and a possible struggle inside Club Ritz, which was hosting an after-party for T.I. and fellow Atlanta rapper, Yung Joc (signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle label), according to The Cincinnati Enquirer.

The scuffle reportedly started when a group of men at the club were angry when money being thrown from the stage by a member of T.I.’s entourage hit them in the face.

“It was supposed to be for the ladies,” a witness told the paper. “But it was hitting the guys in the face and they were like, ‘We got money, so why are you throwing money at us?'”

After T.I. and his crew left the venue, a group of four men reportedly followed the rappers’ vans, leading to a shootout on Interstate 75 that left one in T.I.’s entourage dead. Three people in a second van belonging to T.I.’s crew were shot, including one woman.

Early Wednesday morning, the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 were closed to allow police to investigate the three-mile long crime scene.

Club Ritz, the venue that hosted the after-hours party, has seen its share of shootouts — last June three people were shot outside the club, according to the Enquirer.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
