America’s Saxiest President Compiles Album

A new mix CD compiled by former President Bill Clinton will be released sometime next month, says Billboard.com. The album, called The Bill Clinton Collection: Selections from the Clinton Music Room, includes an eclectic compilation of artists, from jazz standards like Miles Davis’ “My Funny Valentine” to the song that inspired his daughter’s name, “Chelsea Morning,” sung by Judy Collins. The Bill Clinton Collection will be available through Clinton’s website. Soon you’ll be able to slip in Clinton’s choice music selections and remember the halcyon days of Slick Willy’s administration, when the economy was good and the president was our pal.

The Bill Clinton Collection:

“My One and Only Love,” John Coltrane
“Harlem Nocturne,” David Sanborn
“My Funny Valentine,” Miles Davis
“The Town I Loved So Well,” Phil Coulter
“There Will Never Be Another You,” Art Tatum
“Summertime,” Zoot Sims
“In the Presence of Jehovah,” Mickey Mangun
“Nostalgie,” Igor Butman
“I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free,” Nina Simone
“Take My Hand, Precious Lord,” Mahalia Jackson
