QOTSA, R.E.M. Postpone London Shows

In response to yesterday’s bombings, several bands have postponed their London tour dates. Queens of the Stone Age postponed both the major show they were set to play at Somerset House and also the smaller club date at Camden Koko. The band has yet to reschedule specific dates, but they lend condolences to the victims on their official site: “The band’s hearts go out to everyone affected by this horrible attack.” R.E.M. has postponed this Saturday’s Hyde Park show until next weekend. According to an official statement on remhq.com, “the Safety Advisory Group for Hyde Park has agreed that R.E.M’s scheduled concert for this weekend, July 9th, will be postponed until Saturday July 16th.”
