Bloc Party In the Studio

In addition to traipsing around Europe this summer, Bloc Party has found time to get into the studio and lay down some tracks. According to the band’s official site, the two finished tracks so far are called “Hero” and “Two More Years.” In an interview with NME.com, Bloc Party guitarist Russell Lissack says the band has written 25 tracks for the new album. “I like all the new songs better than any of the old ones because I think they’re all better,” says Lissack. Bloc Party plans to release a new single this October; Paul Epworth is handling production duties once again.
